Chemical Dominoes
Project Description
In this project our goal was to create a Rube Goldberg using chemical reactions. In the past two months before this project we were doing labs based off of the experiments we would then use for this. In this process our group went through much trial and error making this project but it was all worth it for the end result.
ReflectionsI believe in this project our group was really rushed because we did not manage our time well at first because we were to focused on building a chemical battery for the first week and a half. Also our project kept on failing on us so we had to keep on improvising till the end. I believe our project would of went together nicer if we had more time and not just focusing on one faulty chemical battery. Three things think our group could of done better was manage our time better, plan our project first not along the way, and give our project more of a concrete set up. Two things we did well was communication and being reliant on each other if needed. We were all able to set our project up by ourselves if everyone else was busy.

5th Grade Project
Project Description
The goal of this project was to make a curriculum for 5th graders. The rules for this project were very loose so could customize our plan to how we like it. During this project we had to look up California standards so we could implement them into our project so we would hit all the requirements. We also had to think about and account for the 5th graders attention spans and how that would affect our curriculum our final plan was a few slideshows, experiments/projects, and some great Bill Nye Videos.
Conclusion
In conclusion this project didn't really enrich on my knowledge of what I already knew but this just made me think form a teaching aspect because we were making curriculum's for teachers to use instead of us doing new projects learning new things. This personally was not one of my favorite projects but I gave me an inside look onto what others teachers do for us. Two things I learned how to do from this project were simplifying education and writing a curriculum if I was ever a teachers. Also how to create fun projects out of science. Two things I think we could of done better were better planning and being less rushed at the end but we still had everything complete at the end. Two things we did well were communication and working under pressure. We also could of practiced our presentation a little better so it would flow a bit better.
